The validation that we are made by people, for people

The story of Felipe Boaventura with Fight Analytics began in 2017. At that time, he was exclusively a professional MMA athlete seeking his place in the sport. It was when Fábio de Brito, our CEO, presented a proposal that united the two great passions of Felipe: the world of fights and the universe of games and computers.

"Fabio came to me and said: 'Man, I have a service proposal that is very like you. You play video games, right?', recalls Felipe.

Felipe’s reality reflected the resilience common to so many other Brazilian fighters. To sustain his sports career, he needed to divide his time between high-performance training and various occupations, working on fronts such as event security, waiter and even camera monitoring.

The 'key vidada' occurred during his first practical test of analysis, where Felipe was challenged to process information from the fight between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones. The ease with which it captured each movement and translated the subjectivity of the octagon into our system confirmed our central thesis that the speed of a software will never replace the criterion of who understands what actually happens inside the cage.

The agility and rigor demonstrated by him at that time were the definitive validation that the specialized human eye is the element that separates a common data from a metric of "real damage" with international credibility.
